**Diwali Pat Lakshmi Sadhana** is a special spiritual practice performed during the auspicious time of Diwali, particularly on the night of **Lakshmi Puja** (the third day of the festival). The goal of this sadhana (spiritual practice) is to invoke the blessings of **Goddess Lakshmi**, the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, and abundance.

During Diwali, it's believed that Lakshmi descends to bless devotees with material and spiritual wealth. The sadhana helps to connect with this divine energy, bringing financial prosperity, peace, and good fortune into one’s life.

### Elements of Diwali Pat Lakshmi Sadhana:

1. **Timing**: This sadhana is ideally performed on Diwali night, particularly during the **Pradosh Kaal** or when the night is darkest (known as the **Amavasya**).

2. **Preparations**:

   - A clean and sacred space should be set up for the sadhana.

   - A small altar is made with an image or idol of **Maa Lakshmi**.

   - The use of **saffron**, **kumkum**, **rose petals**, and **incense** enhances the ritual.

   - Lighting a **ghee lamp (diya)** is essential as it symbolizes purity and the removal of darkness from life.

3. **Mantras**:

   - **Lakshmi Mantras** like “**Om Shreem Mahalakshmiyei Namah**” are chanted during the ritual to invoke the blessings of Lakshmi.

   - Some also recite **Lakshmi Ashtottara Shatanamavali**, a list of 108 names of the goddess.

4. **Offering (Bhog)**: Offering items such as sweets, fruits, and rice to Goddess Lakshmi shows devotion and invites blessings.

5. **Meditation & Visualization**: The practitioner focuses on visualizing Goddess Lakshmi in their heart, showering blessings of wealth, health, and happiness. Concentrating on the flow of divine energy is key to this sadhana.

6. **Significance of Gold and Silver Coins**: Often, **gold or silver coins** with the image of Goddess Lakshmi are placed in the puja. These symbolize prosperity and wealth.

The practice is rooted in faith and devotion, and those who undertake it with pure intentions believe that it can lead to both material and spiritual growth.
